Remote desk top connection

Thomas

For some reason I am no longer able to to connect to my computer at work by
using the remote desk top connection.

This problem occured after I installed the programme "Teamviewer" which I
then have uninstalled again, but I still can´t connect.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

If you are talking about windows remote desktop connection,
by installing "Teamviewer" it might have disabled remote
desktop.

I would check to see which services are enabled and which
services are disabled.

To do this click Start -> Run -> Type services.msc

I do not disagree with the checking of services - however; installing
TeamViewer (Full, QuickSupport or Host) has no effect on your Remote Desktop
settings in a default Windows XP installation. I use them interchangeably
(Windows XP Professional and supersets' Remote Desktop and TeamViewer) on
many computers - depending on the situation, need and status of one or the
other in a particular situation.

Why did you install TeamViewer if you had Remote Desktop functioning? What
was it you were hoping to do and/or what was 'new' you might have been
trying to get around?
