Remote assistance

When i try to invite a friend for remote assistance a box pops up saying your
current system settings prevent you from sending an invitation. I haven't yet
installed a firewall so what can i do????

You haven't installed a firewall but Windows XP has integrated firewall ->
Internet Connection Firewall for SP1
and
Windows Firewall for SP2


The latest Service Pack is Sp2 so you need an exception for the Remote
Assistant
Also make sure you configure the service correctly.
