Remote Assistance?

Guest

I have a friend who has tried to invite me into her pc through Remote
Assistance and as I type in the password, it starts to activate then I
receive this message:
"Remote Assistance could not be established becasue the remote host name
could not be resolved. Olease try again."
What does that mean?
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you...

Hi,

Is her machine behind a router? If so, then the file she created and sent
you will have her local assigned IP rather than her ISP-provided one (which
is what you need). She will also need to setup port forwarding on the router
for port 3389 from the outside world to her machine.
