remote assistance

I am tring to help my sister fix some problems on her comp so Im trying to connect to her computer by using remote assistance but every time I try and connect it comes up with "remote assistance connection could be not established because the remote host name could not be resolved"Can anyone help me with tring to fix this would be great.

Hi Gary,

Is she, or are you, behind a router? If so, you need to configure the router
to have port forwarding on port 3389 to the local IP of the machines being
used.

No neither of us are behind a router. I also disabled her firewall, and mine but that still did not help.

what are u using to connect host name or ip
if they are on the same network doesnt matter, if they are at different
locations and u are using the internet then connect with IP.
make sure termianl services is enabled in the services folder.
