Remembering Passwords

My newest laptop running Windows XP does not remember
passwords either for Office, Office Express, or Internet
Explorer.

I have other XP machines set up the same as this one, and
they do remember passwords.

I have read and followed all the help file info.
Any suggestions on what to do, or where to get
information would be appreciated.

Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password - Fix

This fix also applies to Outlook, other programs that store passwords
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and AutoComplete.
