It is indeed a passion and obsession for my computers to be silent. Madx my DVD drives are silent ones too
so even when I am burning or watch a dvd you wouldn't hear the DVD drive.

The only bugger right now is most of my hard drives whine! I hate it when they do that.
If I unplug my drives there is a massive difference.

I plan to take her (my old rig) apart very soon! The whole room is a mess.

So far so good! I spent the morning taking apart the old system and now the new system sits pretty.

I did take some pictures and they look great!! I put inb my tv card, wireless card, 2 dvd rws and all my hard drives.

The thing is proper silent I am very chuffed. I can really sleep properly now.

Slight nag at the moment I am on my lappy searching for the driver of my Netgear WG311 (which version it is I dont know?)
I think it is v2 I did download the drivers last night but Vista won't accept them so I am searching again.

the other bugger in Vista right now is the program menu how annoying is that? I liked the XP way of things for that!

As soon as I am happy with all devices I am going to use my version of Acronis and hit the backup image option

this is my version but no mention of VISTA
if I can't find the drivers I'll have to take apart another machine and see what wireless card is in there
i know it is a netgear but I hope it is wg311 v3 if it is v1 then looks like im gona need a new wireless card arghhh

the cpu temperature is around 45C at the max right now
it is fluctuating between 35 c to 45 C

I also noticed that on bootup my memory FSB is only 1033 and not 1333 yet.

I will have to overclock don't know where to start though... not yet though

So it looks like this device will not work on Vista. Unfortunatley the other wireless Netgear card I got is also the WG311 V2. Damn shame!!!

I've just tried installing software/drivers for my MSI bluetooth device and it won't work with the supplied CD also same problem with my Cannon LBP2900 laser jet printer. Both drivers I am starting to look for using my lappy.

Looks really good mate, i like how the cosmos looks on the outside but i think the layout inside is awful, i'll never understand why put a PSU on the bottom.

As for your original PC, shame on you thats minging, the cables are everyone and its filthy.

Its just not for me, i'm probably too traditional

thanks guys well I haven't had the chance to play around with it much it is so frustrating!

It has crashed a few times it has got something to do with that WIN TV software I got installed
and then when you try doing something else while it is running it will crash
so it is a little downer on that.
