Program won't startup in WIN XP Pro

Hi! i am running Windows Xp Professional Service pack 2
i have a diagnostic system attached with a scanner to the machine and custom
software that operates for the scanner
everytime i go to start the program to scan something, it gives me the
following error:


Error 1933. Windows Installer Srvce cannot update one or more protected
Windows files. SFP Error: 1223
List of protected files: c:\windows\system32\plugin.ocx

When I try to cancel this, I get the following message:

Please wait while Windows configures ScanDoc.

Is there a solution to this problem ? please help!

Hi! i am running Windows Xp Professional Service pack 2

i have a code error 2755.110. while trying to install a program
program was a design draw for work on my laptop called open office which is
not installed on this service pack.
opened system in event viewer and located red x/properties/help and support,
to find solution but no solution as yet.
can u help!
