Problems with IE6 for SOME users - help!

I have a machine that is used by different users. There is one
particular page that has a drop-down select box. Once a selection is
made in this box, a second box is SUPPOSED to appear.

For most of the users on this machine, this works just fine. But there
is ONE user who, when the drop-down box is selected, get re-directed
to the "home page"!

I have run Adaware, Norton A/V, SpyBot S&D, clearred the temp files,
cleared the history.

Any ideas???

Is there any way to copy one users settings to another user (NOT the
"favorites")???

Hi NewMan,

Check with your Webmasters who supplied the web page where the dropdown list
is. Sounds like they are using asp.net with a form callback that is
initially populated based upon the user Id, nothing to do with spyware. It
may be that this user is not registered to use the web site or it is not
logging them in. (The redirect to the homepage, is that where users logon?)

Regards.

It is our comapny web site, and this portion of the web site is wide
open to the public. It is a "Where to buy" page. You select your world
location - such as "North America", and then the seconday drop down
would give you a list of the lower 48 states + Canada and Mexico.

On my computer, this works fine.

On HIS computer when I am logged in using MY user profile, it works
fine!

But when I log on using his account and profile, it does not work.

Bizarre.
