Problems when a presentation made in PP2000 is opened with PP2003

We have a ppt made in Powerpoint 2000, when it is opened in 2003 we noticed
few problems:
There are some sound effects (included in the Office2000 package) with delay
0, works fine in 2000 but in 2003 there is a delay of about 1 second between
the sounds.
If inserted movie is not found, the browse option is not available anymore
(like it was in 2000).
The image of the inserted movie (.MOV) is not the first frame, it is about
0.1 - 0.2 seconds from the beginning (and in our case the difference is
crucial....).

So, if anyone has an idea what to do (except re-build the ppt) please give
your suggestions. Or should we "downgrade" to older version?
