ppt 2000 to ppt 2003

I have a simple presentation that I created in ppt 2000.
I just upgraded to Office 2003. I have one slide that is
giving me problems now. It is an .avi animation created
in RayDream Designer 5. It worked fine in ppt 2000 but
now when the animation starts there are black lines on
each side of the inserted movie. Also, if I go back to
the slide (page up) there is a black square where the
animation should be until I start the movie and it starts
with the black lines on the sides. I have tried a number
of the compression codecs and they all give the same
results. No other changes were made to the PC other than
the upgrade to Office 2003. Thank you.

Hmm...I just had a problem with a graphic going the other way (from PP
2003 to PP 2000). It turned out that the problem had to do with the
color space in which I was working. (I didn't know that PP is RGB only,
and my graphic was CMYK.) Although this wasn't an animation, is it
possible your problem is related to the color space in which you
designed the animation?

Good luck,
