Hi,

When attempting to open .ppt files made in Powerpoint 2002 using
Powerpoint 2003 it takes a long time, especially if the file size is in
the megabytes range. However, when opening the same file with
Powerpoint 2002 the file opens fine with no delay.

Any idea why?

Thanks,
Ahmed

Is this on the same computer, with both versions of PPT installed?

Or on otherwise identical computers, with only the versions of Office
different?

Hmmm. A few thoughts:

Is any password protection applied?

Is review turned on or has it ever been?

Has the presentation been saved at least once with Fast Saves turned off?
