Tina,

It is not a good idea to post a real email address in a newsgroup like
this one, it will get used by spammers and you will lots of junk emails.

Can you tell us if you are always trying to send from home or if you use
a laptop. Your outgoing server may not be able to identify you and so
will refuse to send anything. Can you copy and paste the entire error
message here so someone can figure out what is going on? Also please
tell us who provides your internet connection, usually that will be the
part after the @ sign in your email address but if you use Comcast for
example say so.

Tina.

What is the error that is shown when it does not send. Can you post it here as per
verbatim

This is the Windows Mail newsgroup. If your issue is in Outlook, please
post info to that newsgroup. Please post the entire error message (copy/
paste) and the name of your email provider (part after the @ symbol in your
e-address).

Are you at home?
You must be connected to Roadrunner's network in order to use their servers.

At the time you got that error message, was your Internet connection
being obtained via RoadRunner, or were you on a laptop away from home?

If at home, which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause problems
with Windows Mail over time.

I am having this same problem. Did anyone find an answer. Spent 4 hours
doing all sorts of fixes from Microsoft website. None worked.

What type of email account are you trying to access?
If you get an error message, right-click on it, select Copy, then paste it
into a reply.

The original problem is extremely general. Your problem is likely different.
You should create a new thread for your problem. To get help, you must be
more specific about your problem. Many times people think they don't need to
provide complete and accurate information when they reply to an existing
thread but if their problem is in fact different then of course they cannot
be helped without requiring someone to spend time requesting clarification.

So if you still need help, create a new thread and in your question include
the complete error message. The only portion of the error message you should
change is the part of email addresses before the @.
