Hi,
I've recently upgraded to Windows XP Pro from WIN98SE. Under Win98SE I used
to be able to save the password to my password list when visiting a site
that needed Windows password authentication. Under Windows XP Pro I have to
re-input the password everytime I visit a password-protected site even
though the dialog box that controls the user name and password input has a
checkbox that states do you want ot save this password (I should also
mention that User Names and Passwords on Forms is already ticked under
autocomplete and the subsidiary checkbox Prompt to save passwords is
unticked. The checkbox to save
the password clearly does not work. Is there a setting in IE6 or XP pro that
I need to change to enable my system to remember key passwords so that I
don't have to constantly re-input them? Thanks for your help. Sincerely,
David
