Problem opening existing files in Word

When I try to open a file from my hard disk or a floppy,
the computer will not recognise the name/file and I get a
message which says something like 'file in use', when
clicking in 'read-only' I am still unable to open it. Can
anybody give me some ideas?

Hello

Try doing a scan on your pc for virus and make sure that you have
your virus scan software updated.
