Problem Adding DC

I am installing a new DC for a remote site. I created the site, subnet, and
site links in AD S&S snap-in. Then I ran DCPROMO on the new DC. For
whatever reason, the new DC synched with a DC at another remote site when
DCPROMO ran. After promotion, things are not right. There is no computer
account in AD for the new DC; however, replication links exist and SRV
records exist in DNS. There are multiple errors in the directory service
log (I can send those if needed).

Any ideas? If more info is needed I can provide it.

Jeff,

the best practice for this first make sure have connection
only the IP ,don't worry about the site like and
everything. since first time the full synch will happen in
our while your joining with existing ADS. So don't create
any site for this.
After adding the DC to existing ADS you can go for the
site creation and schudule the replication time and
everything.

Please try this , might solve your issue.
