Printer driver software

I get the following error message when I try to install
the printer
driver
software. How do I go about repairing this please?

NTVDM KERNEL:Missing 16-bit system module

Please re-install the following module to your system32
directory:
SYSTEM.DRV

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your printer,
search for the latest Windows XP compatible drivers, download
and install them.
