PowerStrip toolbar was installed on my computer

F

FireBrick

Actually my wife's computer.
It's a extra toolbar, I can deselect it from the View Toolbars menu.

it' says I can download it
But I don't want it and I don't want the toolbar.
How do I remove this unwanted, unasked for toolbar?

Please
I hate when sites install this crap without asking.

FireBrick,
*Sorry* about the cryptic note to Mike Burgess!
What I was suggesting is that the "OP" - Original Poster, run a Spyware Hijack
removal utility called "Hijack This"
All the info is avaialble on Mike's unwanted page, here:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

System Restore may "appear" to have rid your machine of the Spyware
component(s) but perhaps not. Like viruses, a Restore does not always
do away with them.

Sorry for the misundertanding, I should have posted the correct info straight
up.

Regards,
