I created a powerpoint presentation with office 2003 on my pc with windows
2000. I copies the program onto a floppy including the videos I want to
play. It will not play on my newlap top which has XP and office 2003. I
updated the codec and it still won't play. I can play the videos on my
laptop using windows media player with no problem, they just won't run in
powerpoint on this laptop. PLEASE HELP

You did of course move the presentation from the floppies to the laptop HD
before you tried to run the presentation. Also look here
Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation

Ed,

You might consider giving PFCMedia a try as it will process the video to
play on just about any Windows PC using PPT. It also insures the links to
the video are not broken. You can down load a free trial (fully
functioning) version from www.pfcmedia.com
