Video in powerpoint is not actually playing

So, I created this presentation with a ton of video in it. After
resolving/working around a lot of the issues that powerpoint has with
video I was able to get it to all work perfectly fine. Except for
now, none of the videos play at all. The only thing I did was
actually move the powerpoint and assets off of the network and onto my
local hdd. They were all located in the same folder, just dragged and
dropped the folder.

Any ideas?

PS. I'm going to put everything on a flashdrive, re add all of the
video and see if that works.

Where on your harddrive did you put them? Try putting the videos and
presentations in a folder directly on the C:\ drive and see if the videos
work then. (I'm thinking you exceeded the file path length limit, so putting
the folder directly on the C:\ drive is a test to eliminate that
possibility.)
