Popups blocked - without popup blocker!

Hi

Got a machine which I built myself that has no ant-popup software. It
had yahoo toolbar which I removed and IE6 is not configured to block
popups either. Yet most popups are blocked (testing using
popuptest.com)

How can I find out what is blocking them?

You do not mention which verion of Windows you are using, but, try they
following and see if it will help.

Hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on a link

or

Temporarily allow Popups in XP
