Pop-up blocking??

Hi,
Could someone please give me some advice regarding the
following problem...

I am trying to access an internet application that
contains pop-up windows. I can't seem to access this and
assume this is because I have some sort of pop-up blocking
software enabled. I am connected to the internet through
a server network using IE6...the IT guy tells me that we
don't have any anti-popup software installed...but when I
log onto the application's site, I get a brief message in
the bottom left of the screen saying 'press the ctrl key
when clicking to allow popups'

It's all rather confusing- any advice would be much
appreciated. Is there any way of finding out if I have
popup blocking software present on my machine? (I've
tried searching the program files, but cant seem to find
anything)

Thanks,
mandy

Hi,
Are you using either the Google toolbar or the Yahoo Companion toolbar? Both
of these can be set to block pop-ups.
