Do you have Java installed? Make sure you have the latest version. Uninstall
older versions from Add/Remove Programs before installing the latest
version.

Do the Pogo games work if you use a different browser like Firefox? If you
haven't tried this, please do.

As far as Java I have Java 2 Runtime Environment Standard Edition v1.3.1 & v
1.3.1_02, and 5.0 Updates 6 & 7.

And as far as another browser only used AOL and it works in that of course.
I never had to use Firefox. I was told its just like MS Internet Explorer, no?

Firefox is not just like IE, no. Do you use AOL to access the Internet or do
you have a separate broadband service provider and just use AOL's Bring
Your Own Access? If you use AOL to access the Internet, all bets are off.

Uninstall all the older Java entries from Add/Remove Programs and install
only the latest version from the website I already gave you.

Thanks Malke,
I have a high speed cable connection thru Comcast. I use AOL alot cause
thats what I learned on (only 3 years ago). So I still have a high volume of
mail coming to my AOL address, however I like to use IE when I'm just
surfing. But like I say when I try to use pogo on IE I cant.
You mean REMOVE ALL 4 of my Javas and updates? And then install the one most
current Java?
PS: is there any benefits if I were to use Firefox?

Thanks again,
Barry

Yes - uninstall all the old Java and install the current one you get from
Sun.

There are a lot of benefits to using Firefox. Try it and see. If you don't
like it, uninstall it. I have a client who cannot get the Pogo games on one
computer using IE. She can get it on the other one. I have no idea why.
Rather than waste our time (and mine isn't free to her), I just installed
Firefox on that box and she can play Pogo on it.

Thanks again Malke,

No that uninstalling and reinstalling Java did NOT work. It says I have to
still "try holding down the Ctrl and Alt keys at the same time or the space
bar" but when I do that NOTHING happens. Someone told me before that I
probibly need Java VM but they stopped making that Java VM download
available????

I don't know what "Java VM" is supposed to do for your situation (nothing),
but if you have the latest Java installed from Sun, then you have what you
need.

All I can suggest to you is that you review the settings of any security
software you have such as antispyware, "Internet security", etc. You might
want to post your question in a newsgroup for Internet Explorer. Make sure
you include all details about your computer, your connection, and what
you've done.

Have you already followed all the suggestions from Pogo tech support?
http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_sid=MIQCRkdi&p_faqid=10368

If not, that would certainly be my next step.

I'm sorry that I was unable to help you.
