Please HELP - Can't Open PPT

I have saved a Powerpoint 2003 PPT file to a Windows
offline folder. After synchronizing, I can no longer open
the file. Powerpoint 2003 gives the following message
when trying to open the file, "PowerPoint can't open the
type of file represented by {path\filename.ppt}". I have
tried copying the file to other hard disks and removable
media but still get the same message. Is there a utility
out there to repair this file if it is corrupted. Any
help would be greatly, GREATLY appreciated.

This sounds like a corrupted file. I'd start by seeing if the presentation
will open on a machine running your old version of PowerPoint. If not, I'd
