PCI USB2 not at Hi speed

Upgraded my AMD 1 Gig PC win XP , SP1 to USB2
by installing PCI, MS-HUB-5PORT2.0
Mfr#: SD-U2VIA6202-4I
Seemed to go ok - BUT, when USB 2.0 devices plug into the USB PCI
i get message
"hi speed usb device plugged into non Hi Speed USB Hub"

Here are the devices:
external drive -ME320-120Gb Hdd Maxtor
128Mb Flash disk -Micro Advantage
4Port USB2.0 hub -Belkin F5U224

Troubleshooting advice , please

Troubleshooting advice , please
It is likely that your Hub is not USB 2.0 capable. Test by plugging your
external Hard Drive directly in to a USB 2.0 Jack on the back of new PCI
card at the back of your computer. Also remember that your old USB jacks are
still functional BUT only at USB 1.0, USB 1.1 speed. Your new card DID NOT
modify them.

1) Check that the right drivers, if any, are installed for the new usb
controller
2) Contact the manufacturer.

Remove all USB root HUBS and ports. Then reboot and let XP re-detect them.
It seems that XP has problems in correctly assigning the USB 2 root
hubs/ports.
