Hi,

I can't boot up my my machine because I get a message saying " my pci.sys in
WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS is corrupt.

How do I fix this problem?? Please advise.

I get the same thing,
"you have a corrupted or missing file (system32/drivers/pci.sys)" I can get
the windows XP cd to enter set-up but when I choose repair it comes up with a
dos command prompt screen. I've replaced my ram modules ind tried them in
different configurations but since that didn't work I suspect the MB may be
bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
One thought, my cd says "Includes service pack 1a" could that be whats
stopping my repair ?

Rob D., good luck to us both.
