I am having a problem with this. A LOT of pages I go to keep coming up page
cannot be displayed (even after I follow all the suggestions like clearing
TIFs etc) and other pages are taking a really long time to load - even my
yahoo mail. I just upgraded my computer (new motherboard and processor) and
did all the updates after activating windows. Everything works absolutely
great except for Internet Explorer. Please help.

First eliminate any spyware.
What You Should Know About Spyware

CAUTION!!!!! Removing some spyware can damage the Winsock stact. Before
you try to remove spyware using any of these programs , download a copy of
LSP-Fix - a free program to repair damaged Winsock 2 stacks (all Windows
versions)

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/ or the Spyware forum at

Okay I tried all of this and I still cannot get onto the sign on screens for
two different message boards I post in (american idol and delphi forums). I
can get in fine on my husbands computer, so I know it's not the sites. I
really didn't think any of this would work because I have started fresh - new
motherboard, new AMD 64bit processor, fresh install of windows xp - so there
shouldn't have been any spyware or hijacking that happened. I still tried it
all though. I don't understand what the heck could be wrong! Everything, but
this, runs so fast and wonderful! /cry

I didn't. My computer hasn't been hijacked man. I downloaded and ran all that
stuff that you had listed, and it didn't help. I have an antivirus and a
spyware sweeper on my system - all updated and everything. Spyware is NOT my
problem.

Well, you just contradicted yourself. If you didn't run HijackThis then you
didn't download and run everything I suggested.

NO I didn't contradict myself. You're not very nice.... I DID download
everything from every one of your sites listed ...there was no hijackthis
download option, only forums! I found it on my own though and will post the
log now on forums.tomcoyote.org.

On the contrary:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
gives four (4) download links for HijackThis.

Well I apologize, I missed that somehow.

I did post my hijackthis log at forums.tomcoyote.org, so what now? It's been
there a couple days and no one's replied to it... Will you be replying to it,
or am I waiting for someone there to reply?

Sorry, but I don't know enough about spyware to interpret HijackThis logs.
