page cannot be displayed errors

I am running IE 6.0 on a WinXP pro computer. I installed
SP2 but was having IE problems so I unistalled SP2 and
also unistalled/reinstalled IE. I get a lot of page
cannot be displayed errors, but if I keep refreshing
eventually the page will come up. This is a bit annoying
and I have no idea how to get rid of all these errors.
Before I installed SP2 I never had this problem. But
afterwards and after unistalling I get all this page
cannot be displayed errors, and the pages load extremely
slow when I can finally refresh them and get them to come
up. Any Ideas

Same problem with my IE 6.0 also. I have contacted some of the web admins
at sites I regularly visit who said they have been getting complaints from
others on this same issue.

Can someone help?
