P*rn link

While using a p2p program, a file I downloaded was disguised as a program,
but turned out to be a link to a porn site. There is now a link on my start
menu which just says “PORN†with an arrow. If I right click it it opens the
link, so I cannot delete it, I have deleted all temp internet files and
cookies, I have run various spy ware and adware programs, including
up-to-date Norton AV. As this is not spy or adware, it is not detected, It
seems to be simply a link, The link is shown just under the “Run†option.
How can I remove it?

Try the followings:

1. Right-Click on Start Menu and click Open
2. If the shortcut is there then left click on shortcut and from the file
menu click delete.

if that doesn't work,

1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Add/Remove Programs
3. See if there is an unusal program installed with the matching name
4. if so, connect to internet and click remove/uninstall.

If any of above works then let us know.

Try right clicking on the Start button and pick Explore All Users. Find the
link, highlight it (click once) and press Shift-Delete.

What anti-spyware programs did you run? It sounds like you are still
infected with something.
