Outlook not installed for current user

I have had a problem with my inbox today, and repaired it, but now when I
open Outlook 2002, I get this message:

Microsoft Outlook has not been set up for the current user. Please run setup
to install the application.

If I recall, setup is part of Office 2002, and running the setup is another
problem I am having.

Thanks for any help and God Bless,

I recently ran into a similiar problem where a windows update (I think)
screwed up my Office applications. I ended up having to repair the
Windows XP installation to get it to work again.

good luck,

I plan to reinstall windows this weekend. My system went bonkers when I
installed SP2 a few months ago. A couple weeks ago, I removed 3 unknown
users and it blew away my desktop and some other files, like MyDocuments,
but the things ran faster and smoother, then suddenly Outlook bombed on me
then I got a bad registry message, so I think it may be a registry issue. I
don't know much about that, but I think my system is beyond repair.

Thank you and God Bless,

Mark
