Outlook has not been installed for a current user error

Hi,

I am getting "Microsoft Outlook has not been installed for the current
user. Please run setup to install the application." error.

The computer is Windows XP Pro SP1. The account does not have
administrative rights, and it does work when the rights are given, but the
user should not be a local admin.

After you click Ok, it just opens Outlook without user's profile.

I did a google search on it and all I could find was to reinstall Outlook.
I did it twice with the same result. Can anyone help me with the solution to
this problem, please?

Thank you very much for your time.

Is Office being installed by using setup.exe from the CD or are you using
another method? Is there a security template applied to that computer by
using Group Policies? If so see; http://support.microsoft.com/?id=898512

Does it work when you logon with that account granting it admin rights to
startup Outlook once (finish installtion) and then logon again without admin
rights?

Thanks a lot, Roady! That link did the trick. I had to find data.dat file and
under Permissions add Everyone(group). Then five Everyone full control over
the file and the error message is gone.
