Outlook 2gb limit

Has anyone ever found a way to warn users they are approaching the 2Gb
limit? I've always thought this is a major shortcoming of outlook- I
understand why their is a limit, but to not have a way to warn users (who
have never heard of the 2gb limit is pretty shortsighted). Autoarchive in
2k is equally pointless because for the average user there is no indication
where the archive folder is saved.

I have never found an Outlook-addin that warns users- alternatly I'm trying
to write a login script which could tell me who has large pst files. Through
Zenworks I can get the total size of all pst's on a computer (another fun
outlook feature), but not the indvidual file size. I was thinking that I
would pipe the output of a 'dir' to a text file, but that command doesnt seem
to like that.

Any ideas? Surely someone has a solution. We are using pop- not Exchange.

Look forward to hearing any suggestions.
