Outlook 2000 and the 2gb limit

Hi,
Non-technical user here. I have just found out the hard way re the 2gb
limit on Outlook, and my entire outlook was lost.
In the absence of any advice at all from MS Support, I spoke to a friend who
confirmed the 2gb issue, and used the Inbox Repair tool. This has recovered
some of my emails, but my calendar, contacts, tasks etc are all empty.
Is there another repair tool I should be using; I followed the instructions
on the Repair Tool, but outlook is now a complete mess, with all the data
above missing!
Help please, remembering I'm not a technical person.
