outlook 2002 ~ Unable to access data file

I changed computers and loaded outlook 2002. I also loaded
my outlook.pst file from my old computer. The error that
keeps coming uo is: outlook.pst is not a personal folders
file. At times I get a file permission denied message, This
file was password protected when saved the last time on the
original computer. I need help to access this file SOON. Thanks

How are you trying to access it? Exactly what steps are you taking?

I am trying have tried a couple of ways
1 i repaired the .pst and imported it: Nothing came through
but a"delted folder"
2. I triedimporting it
3. tried to start up from explorer by clicking on the file
and it keeps telling me "invalid switch type

Any ideas?
I have to access this file as it contains alot of business info

Do not use import. Make sure the "Read-Only" attribute has been removed and
use File>Open>Outlook Data File in Outlook. Point the browse window at the
_original_ PST, not any that you've manipulated.

That's not how you open a PST at all.
