Original XP wallpaper

Anyone know what the name and file extension of the original desktop
wallpaper installed with Windows XP Home Edition? It's a field with
flowers and a blue sky with clouds.

While trying to install the upgrade to Windows XP SP2 for a friend's
system I've had problems and one of the fixes I tried eliminated it
after rebooting and left it a plain blue wallpaper. I've done the
right click desktop>Properties>Desktop>Background search and looked at
all the images there and can't find it

Any help appreciated.

Start button --> RUN --> %SystemRoot%\Web\Wallpaper

"Bliss.bmp"

C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper\Tulips.jpg

*grin*

That is not the 'original desktop wallpaper installed with Windows XP'. ;-)

It is *an* original wallpaper that *is* installed with Windows XP - but the
one that is, by default, displayed on the desktop after the installation is
"bliss.bmp".

The directory is correct - assuming an installation to C:\.
%SystemRoot%\Web\Wallpaper

Amazing that 3 MVPs jumped on that, but still have no idea how to actually
achieve anything more complex than that, isn't it...

How about tackling a real problem?

I am unsure why you feel hurt that people that normally volunteer their time
and answer questions of all shapes and sizes answered this question.

Many thanks to all who responded, MVPs and all. It was not in the
location as listed. No biggie, because it was on my system so I
transfered it to the Wallpaper folder on the system I'm updating and
all is fine.

Weird that it had disappeared from the system I'm updating though.

Probably because he wasn't smart enough to answer the most simple of
questions himself.
