Opening .jpg files in Outlook Express

I get the message "This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action"... when I try to open a .jpg file that is an
attachment to an incoming email message in outlook express. I have
associations set up for .jpg files (and .jpeg, etc.). And I checked to make
sure that the file is being sent with an extension (the .jpg is included in
the attached file name). Why won't the program that is associated with .jpg
files be executed to open these attachments? The program I have associated
with these file types is Kodak EasyShare. And it will open files on my
computer so it is not corrupted. I would REALLY appreciate someone's help.
Thanks so very much.

Ramesh, thanks so much for your reply. This fix refers to powerpoint -- does
it also apply to non-powerpoint graphic files? The files I'm referring are
not powerpoint files but rather photos. I will try it in any event.
