JPG attachments are not opening

HELP

When I double click to open a JPG file the following message comes up

"The file does not have a progam associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Folder Options Control Panel"

I went into Control Panel and did what it said but they are still not
opening - am I missing something?

I don't know what I am doing wrong - I am blond and female though that may
explain it but I still have no luck.
The error is now saying the action is only allowed on products alread
installed. Now I am really confused.

Download the file here, and unzip it:

Extract the REG file "xp_jpg_jpe_jpeg_file_assoc_fix.reg" to the Desktop.
Right-click "xp_jpg_jpe_jpeg_file_assoc_fix.reg" and choose "Merge"

The JPG file association will be fixed now.
