Opening JPG Attachments

Recently I haven't been able to open jpg attachments from my Yahoo email. The
only way is to save it to my hard disk and then open. I'm running SP2 on that
machine. There is no problem opening the attachments on another machine
running SP1. Help!

Hi,

Are you using Outlook express, or are you having problems opening it from
the website?

Best regards,

Altrus

Hi Nombei :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Cannot save target as BMP or JPEG etc

The solution that seems to work for about 98% of such problems the time:
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)
Clear recycle bin to finish getting rid of the files.

However, if it doesn't, close IE and reopen and do it again. Also it has
been reported that clearing cookies helps, but be sure to save those you
need.

If still no joy, try the following...

If the above fails, then try here:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

also......

Another possibility is that you have checked Do not save encrypted pages to
disk on the Advanced tab of Tools | Options, and the picture is on a page
reached by a secure https:// connection.

and...

Why IE will only let you save as BMP
