one web site will not load - after adjusting the Encoding setting

hi, The fonts on any web sites are very small, so I tried to increase the
size by changing the Encoding from Western European (ISO) to Auto-Select
whilst on this particular web site (that I was viewing at the time).
However, this almost 'froze' the IE and finally the common error message page
(Cannot find server / The page cannot be displayed) appeared.
Since then, this particular web site will not load - the Microsoft symbol in
top right hand corner continues to spin and the blue 'status' bar at the
bottom of the page 'completes' however not page appears. Other web sites
appear without any problem.
FYI - We have AVG AntiVirus, use ZoneAlarm to prevent pop-ups and run
AntiSpyware (Ad-Ware/Lavasoft).
Please kindly advise any suggestions or explanations to resolve this.
Many thanks, KM

To increase the size of text do this: View > Text Size.

Return your browser to the default encoding and clear Temporary Internet
Files (Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Delete files > Delete
all offline content)

Thank you Ted for your advice.
How do I return the browser to Default Encoding?
I did change it back to Western European (IOS), and then did as you
suggested (which I had also done previously) - this has worked - as far as
the web site finally appeared. However it is still very very slow to load.
