One Computer Can't See The Other

I am a novice at Network Jargon, but I'll give it a try...I have two
computers networked together. One computer, I'll call it computer 1(host and
gateway) and computer 2(client). The client, computer 2 can see the host
computer 1, but the host computer 1, cannot see the client computer 2. All
other facets of the network seem to be working okay. My ICS is working, and I
can access computer 1, from computer 2. My little network computers on the
taskbar at the bottom of the page say the status is "connected." Is there a
setting somewhere that I am over looking?
Thanks,
Dean

The most likely problem is that a firewall (Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm,
PC-cillin, etc) on the client is blocking access from the host.
Configure any firewall to allow access by other computers on the local
area network.

Note that some recent antivirus programs have firewall components that
have to be configured. An example is Norton Antivirus' "Internet Worm
Protection".
