OL 2000 reads but won't send mail

S

Scott Richardson

I am trying to get this computer to read mail through OL 2000 rather than
OLExpress. I have gone to Control Panel, Internet Connections, Programs and
select OL2000. When I boot OLExpress it asks if I'd like to make it the
default mail reader. OLExpress is getting all of the incoming email and none
is going to OL2000. I have closed OLExpress, sent myself an email from
another computer, click on "send/receive" and nothing shows. So I open
OLExpress and there is the email. I need to get my email via OL2000 -
OLExpress. Please help.

Do you have your mail accounts set up in Outlook? Have you removed them in
Outlook Express?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Scott Richardson
