What are you using to develop the webpages ?

Maybe those (wrong) <p> inside the <td> tags in Buttonbarmain.html ?
It's worth trying to take them away.

But wouldn't it also be a problem if he is using front page extensions which
aren't totally comaptible with moz or other alternative browsers.... ?

I'd rather say that they aren't totally compatible with W3C
recommendations... :)
Anyway, I saw that Henk's site is built with Namo WebEditor v3.0.

I tried to remove those <p> tags, But Namo puts them back in again. I
have to edit the buttonbar with Namo, because Frontpage (2000) has a
lot of problems with the Javascript inside this bar.

Do I have to say: "Houston, we have a problem", or does somebody have a
solution for this?

Use a different editor to fix the page. Open it in Mozilla
Composer and remove the tags.

Or better yet, remove the tags using a text editor like Editpad.
That's the way I do it when I'm having trouble. But I think Henk's
concern is that when he updates the site, Namo will reinsert the tags.

And it will, if he uses NAmo to publish it, which is why I
suggested using Mozilla, which he all ready has if he's
testing pages in it.

Heh? I installed Mozilla again yesterday but it didn't install
Composer. Do I miss something here?

There is nothing really "wrong" with <p> tags inside a <td> but probably
the default styles for <td> and <p> are different in IE & Moz?

It is wrong that there aren't closing </p> tags, and the fact that in that
page they are used not for the content.
AFAIK, while IE "interprets" bad code, Moz correctly is strict.

Don't know what you mean by this sentence? But would like to know.

IE will allow a lot of bad coding that other browsers pick up on,

As a humble user, this feels to me to be a good thing.

Not that it will make me revert to IE...

Well, I'd like to know how you did that ;-). I use browser-only
Mozilla 1.7 and Composer sneaks in with the installation. In the
Menubar, select View->Show/Hide->Component Bar and see whether that
places a Composer icon on the lower left of the browser window's status
bar.

No, I think not. A universally understood language needs standards to be
followed. The existence of a widely used browser (IE), that allows and
renders bad coding, propagates the use of non standard code, producing a
language not universally understood. When I think about it, I see it like a
disgusting marketing strategy by MS.

OK, I found Composer. But, Composer tells me that there is besides a
<p> tag, there is also a </p> tag. I also tried to fix the height of
the cell in Composer, but that also didn't help. Any other suggestions?
Please....
