problem in Mozilla. Does anyone has a clue why this happens?

Fine here in Opera... running multiple browsers is a bit like running
multiple tweak apps; when something messes up, it is god's own job
tracking it down.

No. Just to let you know it opens fine in both IE, Opera and Mozilla
Firefox here. Try clearing your cache/history/cookies perhaps? Check
firwall log if any, check host file etc.

All the best,

Hi Bjorn,

That seemed a pretty good idea to me. So I cleaned the cache, and tried
again, but it didn't work. I noticed some Javascript on that page for a
different handling for IE and Netscape. Maybe that is the problem. I
already notified the webmaster of Easyfreeware.

Thanks for your idea.

With kind regards,

Good te see that it opens in Opera. I used the browsers one after
another, and not side by side. Bjorn suggested the cleaning of the
cache, but that also didn't work. I noticed a Javascript on that page,
that might be the cause of the problem. I already notified the
webmaster of EasyFreeware.

I tried clicking on the easyfreeware link in your post (in OE) and it would
not open in IE6 (my default browser). Then I copied and pasted the URL in
the browser and it opened immediately!! Other links in OE newsgroup posts
open OK. Sometimes the ways of Microsoft are beyond comprehension.

Are you using XP after the SP2 update?
I've noticed the same anomaly, but I haven't found any reference to it
online, when I've looked for it.

I got an alert about my ActiveX settings preventing an object loading,
then IE froze up.(I use IE's Administrator approved setting to restrict
which ActiveX components can be launched remotely)

I think it may have been caused a link to this advertising? script :-

www.addictivetechnologies.net/dm0/js/NewConfirmrdaerafrrl.js

I don't know what object the class id "00000EF1-0786-4633-87C6-1AA7A44296DA"
is; it's certainly not one I have listed in my activeX admin script.

document.write('');

document_code = '

';
document_code += '

';
document_code += '
';
document_code += '

';
downloads_manager.document.write(document_code);
downloads_manager.document.close();

setCookie('minpopuprdaerafrrl','test',1);

}
}

Start > Run, type;

regsvr /u ATPartners.dll

Then locate and delete it.
