Can someone please give me a definitive and precise
answer on this problem? After doing a system recovery I
rebooted and got the error message "NTLDR compressed,
press Ctrl Alt Del to restart" and then, of course, it
just repeats itself. I got a hold of an XP CD and opened
the recovery console and followed about a billion
different suggestions I've found on the internet, only to
find that none of them worked! The NTLDR file seems to
be missing in this case however and not compressed.
Regardless, I am stuck like chuck and would appreciate a
real honest solution
