nslookup

hi,

there is a windows 2000 professional. It's been working fine, but today,
when i startup the windows, it couldn't connect to internet via lan. Network
connection is working fine and other settings are true. When i run nslookup:

Can't find server name for ....: No response from server

message was showed.

I tried to connect on the other computers which have same configuration to
internet, and there is no problem.

I can ping my dns server, but cannot query.

Is there any suggestions?

The nslookup error you recieved only means the DNS server's reverse lookup
zones do not contain a PTR record for the DNS server's IP address.

What happens when you actually try a query in nslookup? Have you tried
flushing the DNS Client cache using "ipconfig /flushdns"?
