Hello,
I have been getting two messeges concurrently when I
start up my computer.
Messege 1:
"Some Symantec product settings have been
changed by an unauthorized program. This can indicate
that an attacker or a virus is attemping to disable your
protection.
To avoid problems, settings will be reverted
to the previous configuration and your system will be
restarted. Click OK to continue" ERROR CODE: 1005.1
Messege 2:
"Unable to restore the security settings.
Please uninstall and reinstall all Symantec security
products to correct this problem." ERROR CODE: 1005.3
I had uninstall NSW2003; deleted registry values by
typing "Norton" and "Symatec" in the FIND text box in the
Registry; deleted all folders associated with Norton
SystemWorks 2003; reinstalled NSW2003.
Nothing works. I still face the same messeges.
Also, my Auto-Protect has been disabled, can not turn it
back on.
I did a virus scan from Norton and Panda Software and
found no viruses.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
