What I did: Had to do a reinstall of Norton Internet
Security 2003 on windows xp pro. I uninstalled it and
the registry keys associated with it.
1. When I reinstalled it the ad blocking feature no
longer works.
2. When running LiveUpdate there is now an update called
but when I try to install it, I get this message:
LiveUpdate must update Symantec Redirector. Please
intall this update first, restart your computer, and run
LiveUpdate again.
But I don't see any update for redirector. All other
updates worked fine. I went to the symantec website and
I saw manual update for redirector, but that didn't do
anything. I also didn't see in their forums anything
relating to ad block not working after reinstall.
