If it's a Retail disk, just use Nero/EasyCD to copy the disk. If it was
a download, then burn the installer folder to CD-R (Vbox). If it came
pre-installed as part of a OEM PC then it's only on the recovery disk
and not as a stand-alone package that can be used to install it fresh.
Perhaps I don't understand exactly what you are trying to do, can you
give us more details.

If your burner has copy written protection (most of them do) you might be
able to copy the retail version. You will probably have to create an ISO of
the disk.

I bought the retail CD and I wanted to create a backup just in case. Can I
use Nero to burn a copy?
