No more than 1 Internet Explorer browser window allowed

I am running Microsoft Windows XP version 5.1 SP2 and Internet Explorer v6.0.
Whenever I click on a link on a website that will start in a new browser
window, select a link on a website, right click and select Open in a New
Window, or double click the IE link on my desktop to start another IE window
the original window open ALWAYS closes. I can only ever have 1 window open at
one time.

I have turned off automatic popup blocker (IE->Tools->Popup Blocker->Turn
off popup blocker) in IE and have disabled popup blocking in my Google
toolbar I have installed in IE, yet this problem still persists.

Has anyone seen this before? Is this a setup option, configuration option,
or worse a virus? Any help is appreciated!

problems if you have it I would suggest unistalling it It worked for me!!! If
you dont know how to uninstall it do this go into control panel add/remove
programs and look for yahoo toolbar just click remove and unistall it good
