ok i just put togethere a new computer and having many
problems. Got the new computer useing a old drive 40gb
5,10,10,15 partitions, doing a clean install(on the 5GB)
(there is data on the other ones) and after the
format it starts to copy some files over and it will error
out on different files everytime(after it errors i start
it over)some dll some exe. after trying different drives
and putting the computer on its side upsidedown all that,
i finaly got it installed with no errors. But now i can't
run windows update (after hitting scan for updates it goes
to 100% right away) it errors. did the recomended MS
solution didn't work. Also the VM on my computer will fill
up in 10-15 min. of just sitting there doing nothing.Also
i am not able to install the adio drivers for my mobo. its
says access is denied. I don't know what the problem is
its a fresh install, but it is a partitioned drive?
running fail safe defaults from bios,cpu temp looks good,
no errors from bios, running a bare bones setup,reset
everything many times(cpu,bios,cmos)i'm running out of
time, gettign close to tossing it out my window.PLZ HELP
ANYONE!!!!!
now that i have installed nortan i got the updates and
started to scan my computer, it will stop because the VM
fills up and i can do any thing, when i try and open other
apps(I.E,nortan,my computer)it will say unable to access
memory location(something like that)then i have to reboot,
after reboot i can access everything for a little bit then
the same error comes up,after 10 min or so.everything but
the HD and CD drives are new. PLZ HELP!!

Hello

Why all those partitions why just have 2, you still have
your cdrom's and which wil take up letters, that many partitions
is not needed in my opinion ok

have all the partitions for windows,music,games,programs
so in case something happens and i have to reinstall and
format i don't lose all my data.
