networking problem login

I have a 2 computer network. It has been working fine, but the kids were on
it and now I can view the shared files on comp2 from comp1, but when I try
to view the comp1 shared files from comp2 I get a log on screen. I have no
password or log on passwords set up on either computer. I cannot find where
to shut down this log on or remove the password.

Hi Jim,

Before you troubleshoot login and password, make sure both computers are
in the same Workgroup. Also scan your computer for viruses and spyware. You
stated that the kids were on it. They might have surfed to a unsafe Website,
that could have messed up the computer.
